Every computer upgrade is unique based on the needs of the owner and the assets that the original equipment has. Some upgrades are cost effective and some are not based on a judgment of performance increase versus cost associated.
In order to know whether a system is a good candidate for a specific upgrade; the system needs to be inspected for compatability compliances affecting overall performance based on the addition of the new equipment.
A good practice to follow is to upgrade your system every 18 months. If your system is three or more years old; an upgrade may not be as cost effective as purchasing a new computer.
Please give us a call or send us an E-mail detailing what upgrade you are interested in, how old your original equipment is and how you expect the new upgrade to affect the performance of your computer. We can then give you an idea of how the upgrade will affect your system and whether it is cost effective.
The links below detail some common upgrades and estimated costs associated with them.
